SCD-PW15: Reinforced Power System Bus Cable
The system cabling forms the backbone of the CONTEST® (Contest Digital Audio Network) system bus.
High demands are placed on system cabling, because all necessary system data, including audio and communication data, are distributed through this cabling, and at the same time, power supply to all terminal devices is also distributed here. When installing system distributions, it is important that each terminal unit also receives the necessary power supply with the necessary power. For this reason, it is necessary to use cabling with enhanced power supply distributed via the bus when solving system distributions. An additional pair of wires with sufficient power transmission capacity is used for this purpose.
All of our recommended and supplied system cables (installation and connection cables) undergo demanding tests of their quality and suitability for use. The use of cabling other than that recommended by us may result in communication failures, failures of some devices and units, or even the failure of the entire system (such defects and deficiencies are not covered by the warranty). For the above reasons, it is necessary to use exclusively recommended cabling, which will guarantee the smooth operation of the entire system.
