Solutions for Simultaneous Interpretation

When providing our audio solutions for simultaneous interpretation we employ our newest digital interpretation technologies which enable interpretation into as many as 64 languages at the same time. All interpreting systems, conference and interpreting equipment used in the field of services fully comply with the international standards EN ISO 22259: 2019, ISO 20108: 2017, ISO 20109: 2016, ISO 4043: 2016, ISO 2603: 2016 and IEC 61603-7:2003.

Language Laboratories for Language and Interpretation Teaching

Our digital Interpreting laboratory has been designed as a digital solution for language teaching, especially simultaneous and consecutive interpretation. Our interpretation laboratories are tailored to the requirements of teachers and students of interpreting and have the following features, among others:

• the teacher is able to listen to a different sound track in each ear (e.g., the student and the original) at the same time
• easy choice of the sound track to listen to per headphone
• easy communication with specific booths as well as all booths as the same time

Specialized Communication Solutions

Remote interpretation CONTEST i-nest

The newly built CONTEST i-nest studio provides ideal conditions for remote simultaneous interpretation. This modern HUB consists of soundproof ISO interpreting booths with professional interpreting equipment and comprehensive equipment for the comfortable work of interpreters.
There is a complete background for interpreters, including parking for cars and bicycles.
The CONTEST i-nest studio also directly provides spaces for the realization and stream of its own conference or other event, with the possibility of integrated interpretation in broadcasting.

i-Lab virtual interpreting laboratory

The virtual interpreting laboratory represents the online technological equipment of a virtual interpreting (language) classroom intended for the teaching of foreign languages, especially for the special teaching of simultaneous or consecutive interpreters.
The virtual interpreting laboratory consists of a server on the Internet with appropriate software equipment and user laptops (smartphones, tablets, PCs...) of the lecturer and students/interpreters.
The CONTEST i-lab virtual interpreting laboratory replaces the professional interpreting system, which is extended by a virtual system module of a lecturer's workplace, intended for teaching simultaneous interpreting and/or foreign languages.
CONTEST i-lab 300 corresponds to the relevant ISO standards and technical conformity of the European Commission (DG SCIC.C.4):

When working with a virtual interpreting system, conditions similar to those experienced by professional simultaneous interpreters in the provision of international events with simultaneous interpretation will be created for students.
The virtual system provides users with two types of online workplaces:

• lecturer's workplace,
• the student's workplace.
